JAYAKARTA NEWS— Indonesia berada di grup B bersama Vietnam, Filipina, Myanmar dan Laos pada ajang ASEAN Championship Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2024. Kepastian itu didapat setelah adanya drawing resmi yang dilakukan di Hanoi, Selasa (21/5/2024).

Sementara itu, grup A diisi oleh Thailand, Malaysia, Singapura, Kamboja dan satu negara lagi akan diperebutkan oleh Brunei Darussalam dan Timor Leste.

Ini adalah edisi ke lima belas untuk tahun 2024. Di edisi sebelumnya, Thailand keluar sebagai juara.

Sementara Indonesia hanya sampai di laga semifinal. Ditahan imbang 0-0 saat menjadi tuan rumah oleh Vietnam, dan kalah 0-2 saat bertamu ke Vietnam.

Rencananya gelaran ini akan dimulai dari tanggal 23 November 2024 hingga 21 Desember 2024.
